Uruguay Approves New National Education and Human-Rights Plans

On 5 November, Uruguay’s National Public Education System approved national plans for Comprehensive Sexual Education and Human Rights Education, including teacher training and updated learning resources. The Solidarity Fund also opened 2027 scholarship applications for university and tertiary students through 28 February 2027; the total scholarship budget was not disclosed. These initiatives create opportunities for education consultants, curriculum developers and training providers.
